The Virtual Restaurant

I used to manage restaurants - nothing fancy, just neighborhood places with good food at moderatre prices. There is a long running joke in the industry that it would be a great business if it weren't for the customers. Someone has finally figured it out - the Sub Rosa is a entirely virtual restaurant and wine bar in Dundee, Oregon. That's right - it exists solely online.

Run by Linda Lausmann and Michael Sherwood, the site puts together menus, wine lists and even a music play list of a restaurant. It looks great, but you can't go there to eat!

It is a fun site to go through and the menus sound delicious. It is nice to see a wine list focused on wines of the Northwest. Also, spend enough time to find the Nude BBQ team (hint: check the about us page).
