Peter and Robert Mondavi to Produce Wine Together
NPR has posted the audio from their radio broadcast from All Things Considered about feuding brothers Peter and Robert Mondavi joining together to produce a single barrel of wine.
The brothers split 40 years ago after disagreeing over Robert's loose spending habits at Charles Krug Winery. Robert left the family winery and founded Robert Mondavi Winery with the goal of producing the first top California wine able to compete against French wineries. At that point Krug was focusing on wines for mass consumption.
